Welcome to the College of Information Science and Technology (IST) at Drexel University. Our mission is to advance, through teaching and research, the information field -- integrating its human, social, and technological aspects and laying its intellectual foundations.Founded in 1892, the College offers the following graduate degree programs:
Since 1984, the College also offers an undergraduate degree program:
- Master of Science (M.S.) in Library and Information Science
- Master of Science in Information Systems (M.S.I.S)
- Ph.D

The College currently enrolls approximately 800 students: 20 doctoral students, 500 master's students, and about 280 undergraduates.
The College of Information Science and Technology is an exceptional place --it's one of just a few schools in the country where all faculty and students are dedicated to teaching and learning about information and the ways it is used and managed. The College provides students with many state-of-the-art facilities to complete coursework, or conduct research. The College's placement office supports IST students and alumni in all areas of career development.
